SPRING 2023 - in person workshops

PREFACE, INTRODUCTION, FOREWORD....Did you give up on writing a book after the thrill of writing the first 20 pages left you dizzy. Or maybe you got to the end of the story and were too exhausted to assemble the other pieces required to complete your book project.

Spend some time with award-winning author Ingrid Lundquist and learn how to navigate the mysterious land of book parts. She explains the different elements of a book in layman’s terms, shows you what’s important and what’s not, and explains why.

You’ll get tips to ease you through the writing and assembly of the essential, but non-creative, parts of your book. In the end you’ll no longer be miffed by the book parts – you’ll know how to turn your story into a real book without feeling like you forgot something in the rush to get done.

In person, one day workshop.  10 am - 3 pm

Roseville Campus: Sat., April 29, 2023

Create a Memoir Book: Your Slice of Life Stories

Unlike an autobiography which chronicles your life, the memoir is about a slice of your life. It can define a time - such as growing up, college years or family, or special occasions like holidays, travels or the cars that reflected who you were. If writing about your whole life is too big a task to tackle, pick a favorite life topic and Ingrid will guide you through the steps in creating a memoir book to share and enjoy.

In person, one day workshops.

Nevada City Campus: Saturday, February 4, 2023 11 am - 4 pm

Roseville Campus: Saturday, February 25, 2023  10 am - 3 pm
