NEW Write with Purpose – Step up to Nonfiction
Designed for writers of all levels, whether you're writing a book or an article, you'll learn how to organize nonfiction content to deliver your message and establish yourself as a nonfiction author or Subject Matter Expert (SME).
How-to, self-help, journalism, history, science, and guidebooks (among others) all have factual content that falls under the classification of nonfiction - information based on facts.
NONFICTION: biography, business, cooking, health and fitness, pets, crafts, home decorating, languages, travel, home improvement, religion, art and music, history, self-help, true crime, science and humor, psychology, education, personal development, food writing, creative nonfiction, autobiographies, memoirs, family and relationships, spirituality, religion, pets.

November is National Novel Writing Month. Check out NaNoWriMo.org, sign up for free and join writers worldwide in the challenge of writing 50,000 words in 30 days. Ingrid, a successful challenger in 2009, will present a session on outlining, time management, and a proven method to jumpstart writing the first draft of your manuscript. Participation in NaNoWriMo is not a requirement for this class. All writers can benefit from the information.

Compiling a family cookbook is a fun solo or group project. You pick the topic – holiday side dishes, campfire cooking, backyard barbecue, or weeknight quick meals. This class is all about how to gather and organize favorite family recipes and turn them into a book. You don’t even have to write all the content yourself. As the cookbook ‘compiler’ - you gather the family favorites. Join us and learn tips and tricks about building a treasured cookbook that can be this year’s wrapped present and maybe even a family-bonding project.

Hop on Zoom for 60 minutes as we countdown 10 Tips to make your holiday letter fun, educational, memorable, and something recipients will look forward to reading. Join us from wherever you are – lounging by the fireplace or at the kitchen table.
